Two Creative Fundamentals courses are held each year (Spring and Fall). Other courses and learning opportunities are offered throughout the year. "Is this a digital course or a film course?" Either... or both! It is a photography course - about creating better photographs. The emphasis is on your skills behind the camera and your ability to effectively use the camera you have. Many participants bring digtal cameras. Many choose film. Some bring both! Having people with both technologies on a course helps to compare the differences. Do not worry about your equipment - all you need is a 35mm SLR camera and lens(es) - no "point and shoot" cameras please. Harry Nowell Photography, Inc. also offers custom courses to individuals, small groups, school groups, graphic designers, government and industry who have a need to learn specific elements of photography or visual concepts.
