What workshops do you offer?

We offer a variety of workshops to suit a range of photo interests. Check out our workshops page to find out more.

How do I register for a workshop?

Complete our registration form and fax it to: (819) 827-5262 or contact us to register directly or to get more information. Registrations are on a first come, first served basis. Most courses are limited to 8 students per class. Once a course fills up you may be put on a waiting list.

A deposit is required to reserve your place on the course. Courses require a deposit of $100-150. The remainder of course fees are due on or before the first class. Course fees may be paid bycontacting us by phone with your Visa/MasterCard. You may also pay by cheque.

Where are the workshops held?

Workshops are held in the Ottawa/Gatineau area unless otherwise stated. Contact us for details about hosting workshops in your city!

Are the courses digital or film based?

Either... or both! Our workshops are photography courses - about creating better photographs. The emphasis is on your skills behind the camera and your ability to effectively use the camera you have. We cover all aspects of digital photography - elements like 'white balance' affect film photographers, too! Participants bring digtal or film cameras. Do not worry about your equipment - all you need is a 35mm SLR camera and lens(es). "Point and shoot" cameras are permitted on only a few courses. Unsure? Please ask.

How much do the workshops cost?

What is your cancellation policy?

Should you need to cancel your course registration more than 30 days before the course begins any fees paid for the course will be refunded (less an administration fee). If cancellation occurs 30 days or less prior to the course start date, no refund is available. /p>

How big are your classes?

Most workshops are limited to 8 students per class. "Seminar based workshops" have larger numbers of students. Larger or smaller groups can be accommodated through our custom courses. Contact us for more details.

What if it rains/snows/hails/sleets or otherwise looks nasty outside?

We build poor weather contingencies into our programs. In the event of truly inappropriate weather or other unforeseen elements, the field trip may be relocated or rescheduled.
