You were lucky enough to get a <strong>front row view<\/strong>. The jazz man is 3m (10 feet) from you.  It&#8217;s 8pm and the <strong>daylight is fading<\/strong>. The stage lights are starting to shape the light.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.harryNowell.com\/Photo\/sax.jpg\" alt=\"sax player\" height=\"227\" width=\"320\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you were doing an <strong>available light<\/strong> (no flash), <strong>photojournalistic portrait<\/strong> of the sax player <strong>from the waist up<\/strong>, <strong>what lens<\/strong> would you use?<br \/>\nI don&#8217;t care about the brand. I want to know the<strong> focal length<\/strong> &amp; <strong>aperture<\/strong>.<strong> Zoom or fixed focal<\/strong> lens?<strong> Why?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Need help?
