Photo Newsletter - Ottawa\" href=\"http:\/\/www.harrynowell.com\/ottawa_photographer_newsletter.htm\" onclick=\"return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.harrynowell.com%2Fottawa_photographer_newsletter.htm','Exposed%21+Photo+Newsletter+-+Ottawa')\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Exposed! newsletter<\/a> &#8211; &#8220;<a title=\"Ottawa Photo Newsletter - Breathing Life into Your Photos\" href=\"http:\/\/www.harrynowell.com\/newsletter\/photos_and_breathing.htm\" onclick=\"return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.harrynowell.com%2Fnewsletter%2Fphotos_and_breathing.htm','Ottawa+Photo+Newsletter+-+Breathing+Life+into+Your+Photos')\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Breathing Life into Your Photos<\/a>&#8221; &#8211; I was <strong><em>mildly concerned<\/em><\/strong> how people would react &#8211; I thought it may have focused too much on the soft skills side instead of tangible hard skills of photography.<\/p>\n<p>But, we received <strong><em>very positive comments<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;<em>I always enjoy your newsletters but this is the best one yet.<\/em>&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>Thanks for this article on &#8220;breathing&#8221; Harry!\u00a0 I loved it!\u00a0 Far too often do I get wrapped up in taking a picture&#8230;<\/em>&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;<em>&#8230; thank you for your really good bulletins. I am using it to practice and improve my skills. They are like a mini workshop each time.<\/em>&#8220;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8230; etc. &#8216;Exposed!&#8217; usually brings in mail but this newsletter seemed to hit a cord with people!<\/p>\n<p>This also happened in the fall &#8211; I wrote &#8220;<a title=\"Ottawa Photo Newsletter - Five Myths of the Photo Business\" href=\"http:\/\/www.harrynowell.com\/newsletter\/five_myths_of_photo_business.html\" onclick=\"return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.harrynowell.com%2Fnewsletter%2Ffive_myths_of_photo_business.html','Ottawa+Photo+Newsletter+-+Five+Myths+of+the+Photo+Business')\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Five Myths of the Photo Business<\/a>&#8221; and was a <em>little concerned it would not do well<\/em> because some take other opinions &#8211; the article was inspired by a government client who could not believe we would charge extra for a second, very different usage!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>But this article also made waves<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; the article got picked up nicely throughout North America causing the biggest Exposed! spike we have ever received! It, too, hit a cord.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the feedback &#8211; it keeps me writing photo newsletters and blog posts!<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 460px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Breathing Life into Your Photos - Exposed!
