Recently, a past photo student called looking for help:
\n“I understand technical photo elements but am struggling with compositions and creating photos that show what I feel when I see the scene.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

Photo before the Custom Photo Course – technically fine but lacking intimacy.<\/p><\/div>\n

She booked a Custom Course<\/a> and we met along the path of the Watershed<\/a> project.<\/p>\n

Within a morning session of pointed direction and gentle coaching, her photos improved quickly. They went from broad generic landscapes to alluring photos that pulled the viewer in:<\/p>\n

“What a fun morning I had in the Gats working my photographic edges with Harry. \u00a0He so brilliantly and sensitively identified my next edge to work so I could move closer to where I’m longing to be with my photos.<\/em><\/p>\n

Bit by bit I began to discern the difference between when I\u2019m hanging out \u2018back there\u2019 and when I <\/em>\u2018step in\u2019. \u00a0I also began to see a difference in my photos, after just one session. \u00a0I learned so much in one morning. \u00a0Thank you Harry, and also for what I\u2019ll use as mantras when I\u2019m out there on my own practicing – \u00a0<\/em>\u201cstep in\u201d, \u201cembrace it\u201d. \u00a0\u201ctouch it\u201d.”<\/p>\n
