\u00a9 Al G. 12 foot Challenge<\/p><\/div>\n

In July we offered our Online Photo Members a different challenge.<\/p>\n

We said they could shoot:
\n\u2022 anything
\n\u2022 anyhow
\n\u2022 anywhere
\n\u2026 as long as this month’s photos were all within a 12 foot radius (ideally) centred around their back door.<\/p>\n

I thought they might say:
\n“But there’ll be nothing to shoot!”
\n“Boring!”
\n“What about something adventurous?”<\/p>\n

But they didn’t!
\nThey got shooting and one member said:
\n“I had a blast with this month\u2019s challenge!”
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

It’s harder than you’d imagine. A whole month of shooting within 452.29 square feet will stump even the most creative photographer. And that was the point.<\/em><\/p>\n

We offered creative catalysts and ideas to bust through blocks interfering with their creative potential.<\/p>\n

And their month’s efforts made me smile. Sounds like it made them smile, too:
\n“I must say that when I first heard your challenge for this month I just went brain dead.\u00a0 I live 22 stories up in a building with a 6ft wide balcony\u00a0 and I wasn’t sure what I was going to do.\u00a0 But I surprised myself once I got started…”
