I have always written about my experiences based on the products I use and am curious how to deal with the requests I now receive.<\/p>\n<p>While we do accept some limited advertising on the site &#8211; and am grateful for the sponsor&#8217;s support &#8211; I want to develop a way to keep my comments genuine and allow for some extra content that fits the scope of this blog and our readers!<\/p>\n<p>I realize we need to start defining how to deal with the requests. A visible policy is always a good start and we are starting to develop one.<\/p>\n<p>In so doing I found a prominent Ottawa based blogger who has been blogging since before blogs were savvy. Andrea at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quietfish.com\/\" onclick=\"return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.quietfish.com%2F','QuietFish')\" title=\"QuietFish\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QuietFish.com<\/a> has quite a following on her blog &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.quietfish.com\/notebook\/\" onclick=\"return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.quietfish.com%2Fnotebook%2F','A+peek+inside+the+fishbowl+blog')\" title=\"A peek inside the fishbowl blog\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>a peek inside the fishbowl<\/em><\/a>&#8221; and visibky displays her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quietfish.com\/notebook\/?page_id=1762\" onclick=\"return TrackClick('http%3A%2F%2Fwww.quietfish.com%2Fnotebook%2F%3Fpage_id%3D1762','QuietFish+blog+pitch+policy')\" title=\"QuietFish blog pitch policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pitch policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Good advice!
