“A Walk through the Forest<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The sun peaks through a canopy of yellow and lingering green. \u00a0A gentle breeze rustles the leaves and fills the air with a soft shimmering sound. \u00a0The scents of autumn leaves and pine needs fill the air. \u00a0In this abstract image, I \u00a0capture the feeling of standing in the forest as the sunlight penetrates the canopy and lights a pathway through the trees.<\/em>“<\/div>\n

“The Minds Eye<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

As if still in my childhood days, I often enjoy laying on my back on a summer day and staring up at\u00a0the\u00a0clouds drifting by. \u00a0Youth hangs on hard as I paint images in my mind from\u00a0the\u00a0puffy white shapes.\u00a0\u00a0Many pieces of abstract art have that same appeal, enticing us to create our own pictures, holding our interest so much longer than a literal image. \u00a0In this image, I have captured a literal scene and without manipulation of any kind, I present it as abstract. \u00a0For me, I see a lone tree on\u00a0the\u00a0shore of a lake. \u00a0A cold stormy sky and\u00a0a distant tree line is reflected in\u00a0the\u00a0choppy water. \u00a0What do you see? \u00a0Once your mind creates its own picture, it can become very difficult to see what it actually is.<\/em>“<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
